Back in 2007, STS9 needed a poster designed and asked MikeTysonDesign to come up with something for the Spring Tour. Designer Mike Laughead has shared his creations and a few words about the project below.
This is the aborted first attempt at the STS9 
poster. You can see that I took the same characters and just moved things around. I was told that this one was a little too tame, it didn't have the kick that my second attempt did. I think that most of the kick is that the boy is angry in the actual poster. I did this one on my own with some art direction by Tyson and Allen.
